Co-ownership: what aids to the installation of charging stations for an electric vehicle?

Condominiums can benefit from several future program aids of the Avere (Association for the Development of Electric Mobility).

• For a shared use, that is to say when the recharge is accessible to all residents for their own vehicle, the trustee of the building can get help of 50% of the cost with a ceiling of €1,660. In order to qualify for the future bonus, it is necessary to use a commercial offer labeled by the program Come. The power of the charging stations shall be not more than 22 kW. They must be equipped with an energy control system.

• Since January 2020, the first 3,000 condominiums that apply can benefit from the Future program 3,000 properties. The funding is 50% the cost of a collective infrastructure (excluding a terminal installation) capped at €4,000 up to 50 seats (above 50 seats, this ceiling is increased by €75 per additional seat but within the limit of €15,000 in total). This premium may be combined with the previous one and other national or local aid up to 80% cost and capped.

There are also local aid. For example, Parisian condominiums (trustees and social landlords) can benefit from 2 grants that can be combined with future grants:

• an aid for pre-equipping 50% of the net amount of the works (€4,000 (maximum) for the installation of a charging station or the renovation of a riser for electric or hybrid vehicles in their car park;
• an aid from 50% of the amount of work (€500 per charging point, up to 4 charging points) for the installation of charging stations settled on common areas and for use by residents or visitors.
