With the publication of the emergency law to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak, the health emergency comes into effect throughout the national territory for a period of two months.
The state of emergency is declared for a period of two months from March 24, 2020, the date of publication of the law of March 23, 2020 to address the COVID-19 outbreak. A decree issued on 23 March 2020 details the measures adopted under the state of emergency (read more about Vie-publique.fr).
