Do you have a Sustainable and Solidarity Development Booklet (LDDS) and would like to make a donation to a social and solidarity economy (SSE) player? A decree issued in Official Journal may 31, 2020 allows you to do so from 1er October 2020. The decree also specifies the manner in which the donations are to be allocated.
Originally scheduled for 1er june 2020, the opportunity to make a free donation to a company of the social economy and solidarity with its LDDS is carried forward to 1er October 2020. This postponement was decided due to the health crisis and in order to allow the establishments distributing the booklet to carry out the required IT developments. Until then, however, it was possible to make a donation to SSE companies from one's bank account.
The decree also makes it possible to give to several beneficiaries and directly from the booklet without going through a current account.
Reminder
The LDDS, reserved for taxpayers (and except for adults), has a rate of remuneration net of income tax and social security taxes of 0.50% since 1er February 2020. Its payment ceiling is €12,000. The amounts paid shall be centralized at 60% the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) and the rest is kept by banks, which must use it to finance SMEs, the energy transition or the reduction of the climate footprint, and the social and solidarity economy sector.
