Can I vote in the second round if I turn 18 by April 24?

I was not an adult in the first round of the presidential election on April 10. I've just turned 18 or I'll have them in the next few days. Will I be able to vote for the second round on April 24? Service-public.fr answers you.

  • Yes, if I'm French, that I completed the military census at 16. All young people celebrating their 18th birthday between the day of 1er tower (10 april) and the day before 2e round (24 april) of the presidential election will be able to vote for the 2e because they were registered to vote automatically.
  • No, if I am a European citizen who was not registered to vote on the 1er tower.
