The official election campaign for the second round of municipal elections begins on June 15, 2020, and ends at midnight on June 27, 2020. The second round being held on 28 June, it is an exceptionally long run for a campaign between two rounds.
Due to the health crisis, the Covid-19 Scientific Council has warned of the risks associated with the election campaign. It recommends that the campaign be organized in strict compliance with health recommendations. Under the decree of 31 May 2020, the organization of public meetings in municipal halls must not bring together more than 5 000 people (read more about Vie-publique.fr).
