Caregivers: income excluded from the calculation of the SSA

RSA: this provision broadens its beneficiaries and increases the amount of the SSA for those who already receive it.

The following shall no longer be taken into account in determining the amount of the SSA:

• the Disability Compensation Benefit (DCP) irrespective of the age of the beneficiary for all its elements (including the expenses of family caregivers);
• the amount received as compensation by the family caregiver under the PCH;
• the daily caregiving allowance (AJPA).

Activity bonus : persons with employment income who were over the eligibility thresholds as a result of the PCH can now benefit from the activity premium.

The following shall no longer be taken into account in determining the activity premium:

• the amount received as compensation by the family caregiver under the PCH;
• the daily caregiving allowance (AJPA).
