Motorways

Motorway tolls increase by 0.30% to 0.65% on average from 1^er February 2021. The average increase in these fares is 0.44% on all businesses of operation of the motorway network.

Inter-lane circulation of two-wheelers

Since 1^er In February 2021, motorized two-wheelers and three-wheelers are prohibited from traveling between two lines of cars anywhere in France. The experiment on inter-line traffic (CIF) of motorcycles and scooters on certain roads of 11 French departments was indeed completed on January 31, 2021.

Taxis

Taxi fares, which must come into force no later than 1^er February 2021 are fixed by an order published in the Official Journal of 29 December 2020. In 2021, the applicable amounts are identical to those of the previous year, except for the flat-rate fares for flights to certain airports, which are changing. The minimum fare for a ride remains set at €7.30 for all taxis (Parisians and non-Parisians). The price of the pick-up is capped at €4.18.

Electrical

From 1^er In February 2021, the regulated electricity sales tariffs of EDF and local Companies of distribution (ELD) increase on average by 1.6%. That is indeed what the website of the National Energy Ombudsman states.

Gas

Engie's regulated gas sales rates increase by 3.5% on average at 1^er february 2021 in relation to the scale applicable since 1^er January 2021.

Savings

Regulated savings book rates will not change at 1^er February 2021, the date of the regulated savings book rate review. They will remain at the rates set since the first^er February 2020: Livret A rate is maintained at 0.50%, the rate of the Sustainable and Inclusive Development (LDDS) booklet at 0.50% and the popular savings account (PEL) rate at 1%.

Tobacco prices

Retail tobacco prices are changing, as expected a decree published in the Official Journal of 13 January 2021. Cigarettes, cigarillos, cigars and roll-your-own tobacco are listed on the customs website.

Psy check for students

The “psychological support check” (CAP) is being rolled out during the month of February. This is access to three consultations with a psychologist, without an advance payment. Detailed implementing rules will be specified shortly.

Extending restaurant tickets

Your 2020 restaurant securities, which expire at the end of February 2021, are exceptionally usable until August 31, 2021.
