Resumption of standing concerts, reopening of discotheques with obligatory sanitary pass

Do you miss the dance floor? Are you looking forward to getting the atmosphere of the pits back? Party-goers, party-goers and night-owls can rejoice, standing concerts are allowed to resume from 30 June 2021 and the discotheques are scheduled to reopen on 9 July 2021. Some sanitary conditions are however required. Service-Public.fr details these adapted health protocols.

Resumption of concerts with a standing audience on June 30

Concerts and festivals with standing audience are allowed from 30 June 2021 with the following sanitary conditions:

  • meet a public reception gauge 75% in indoor establishments and a 100% Outside
  • a health pass will be required from 1,000 spectators for outdoor or indoor concerts;
  • wearing the mask is mandatory for outdoor or indoor concerts with less than 1,000 spectators.

For concerts and festivals with more than 1,000 people and a health pass required, wearing the mask will not be mandatory, but it is still recommended.

A milestone will be achieved in mid-September to assess the possible changes in this framework for the autumn concerts.

Reopening of nightclubs from 9 July

Closed since March 2020, nightclubs will reopen from 9 July 2021 with a sanitary protocol specific to night clubs:

  • the submission of a health pass (complete vaccination plan or negative result of a PCR/antigenic test of less than 48 hours or result of a positive RT-PCR test attesting to the recovery of Covid-19, dating from at least 11 days and less than 6 months, will be required to enter the establishment;
  • the mask will not be required but is still recommended;
  • a gauge 75% for indoor and 100% Outside
  • downloading and activation of TousAntiCovid Signal, the digital reminder book, will be mandatory.

These measures will be implemented during the summer period. A milestone with the professionals of the night clubs will be realised in mid-September to evaluate the possible changes in the conditions of access to the discotheques.
