Are you registered on Parcoursup to take a course in higher education in the 2021 school year and you may not have received an admission proposal? Don't panic, the opening of the complementary phase to help you get a place in higher education is open until September 14, 2021.
Who is involved?
Open since Wednesday, June 16, 2021, the complementary phase allows candidates to express up to 10 new wishes in trainings that have places available on Parcoursup until September 14, 2021 inclusive. It is mainly intended for:
those who have not yet received an admission proposal: candidates who have only received negative responses to their wishes as of may 27, 2021 and candidates who are
waiting
for all their wishes;
those who did not confirm a wish until April 8, 2021;
those who have never registered on Parcoursup (these candidates must first register on Parcoursup).
Applicants who have already accepted a proposal for admission to the main phase and who wish to make new wishes in courses where places are available may also participate in the supplementary phase.
Please note
After the submission of the candidates' wishes on the remaining vacancies, which ends at midnight on September 14, 2021, the institutions proceed to their examination, send their answers and their proposals until September 16, 2021 inclusive. Careful, for admission proposals received between august 26 and september 16, 2021, applicants must respond during the day. This shortened deadline allows more candidates to get answers before the start of the school year.
How do I find out what additional training is available?
To help you, the course search engine of Parcoursup allows you to consult the courses available in the complementary phase and to access the detailed overview sheets. This makes it easy to see from the map whether the training you are looking for is available in your academy or elsewhere in France and to see similar training for each course you have selected. The engine is accessible:
From your folder in the
Greetings
then
Wishes in complementary phase
. When you are logged in to your folder, the search engine will only show courses that have places available for your type of bachelor's degree. You can add up to 10 new greetings.
Offline from page
The site's formations
. A search for training courses by type of baccalaureate prepared or obtained is proposed.
New courses can be enrolled in the complementary phase, so it is recommended to consult the course search engine regularly.
The response deadline is always displayed in front of each admission proposal.
FYI
You can ask for the support of the Commission d'accès à l'éducation supérieure (CAES) of your academy from your file: it will help you find a training as close to your project as possible and according to the places available.
Questions on the supplementary phase?
What are the different answers I can receive? Can they evolve? How do I get alerted on my mobile phone? How does the answering machine work? What does the answer mean?
yes-if
? Can I accept more than one proposal at a time? Do I always receive even a negative answer? How do waiting lists work?
