DuoDay 2023: professional immersion for persons with disabilities

DuoDay is an annual event that allows a person with a disability to spend a day in a professional setting, in a company, association or administration, to observe the work of a collaborator and participate in his daily tasks. The event will take place on Thursday, November 23, 2023, throughout France. Anyone with a disability over the age of 14 and any employee in the private or public sector can form a duo and spend a day together, in person or remotely.

How does it work?

If you are an employer and would like to propose a duo offer, a person with a disability or a support organization, you can apply via the online forms.

Then, the DuoDay team and its local partners throughout the territory accompany you in the different formalities before the D-Day: organization of duos, formalization of internship conventions, etc.

Registration takes only a few minutes:

• either you already have an account and you access it by entering your usernames and passwords from previous years;
• or this is the first time: you are guided step by step to create an account according to your profile.

How to participate?

You are looking for a job or a student, and with a disability

• you access all the duos offers offered by the employers. They specify whether they are in person or remotely;
• you can position yourself on the ones that interest you most;
• employers contact you in return to offer you offers.

You are a volunteer collaborator to form a duo

Make yourself known to your employer, usually to the Human Resources department, who will tell you the procedure put in place for registration.

You're an employer

• You must create your organization's account.
• you collect the offers of duos within the company and you deposit them on duoday.fr;
• people with disabilities are interested in what they see on offer. They may be seeking employment, studying or working in a protected environment;
• you contact the persons with disabilities you have selected.

You support persons with disabilities who are looking for a job or workers in a protected environment

• the person you are accompanying is able to log in themselves: they can create their account and follow the procedure;
• the person needs to be accompanied: it is up to you, as the accompanying structure, to create the account, then to accompany the person in the selection of the most suitable duet offers. The rest of the procedure is the same.
