Registration on electoral lists in France

You can register:

• online, using the online service available on Service-Public.fr on presentation of a digitized proof of identity and proof of residence;
• in town hall, on presentation of proof of residence, proof of identity and the form https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/R16024Cerfa n°12669*02 application for registration;
• by mail addressed to your city hall, enclosing a proof of residence, a proof of identity and the https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/R16024Cerfa n° 12669*02 registration request.

For the June 2022 parliamentary elections, the deadline for voter registration depends on the place of registration.

Registration on the consular voters list to vote from the foreigner

If you are French and live abroad, you can register on a consular voters list to vote abroad. In order to register, you must provide proof of your usual residence in the consular district.

You can apply to be registered on the consular voters list on-line by the French register established outside France :

• after you have registered in the register of French nationals established outside France;
• or when you register in this register.

The service is accessible with an account Service-Public.fr or via France Connect.

You can apply for registration on the consular voters list by going directly to the consulate or embassy of the country of residence.

You must provide the following:

• Proof of identity ;
• Proof of residence in the consular district;
• Form completed and signed.
