Citizenship

Registration for the 2023 edition of the National Universal Service (SNU) for the February, April, June and July 2023 cohesion stays is open since 19 October 2022.

Family and education

You have until October 20, 2022 to apply for your college and high school scholarships. Registration for the Bafa (Qualified Facilitator) certificate is now possible from the age of 16. Election of parents of students, holidays of All Saints: the dates of the fall to remember.

Taxes

You have until October 17 or 20, 2022, depending on the method of payment used to pay your property tax. If you don't already have one, you'll receive your housing tax payment notice: only wealthy households (whose benchmark tax income exceeds a certain limit) still have to pay it in 2022, with a 65% rebate in all cases. Reminder of updated fiscal calendar until end of December 2022.

Occupational health and safety

A new COVID-19 vaccine booster campaign kicks off on Monday 3 October with new variant-adapted vaccines. The information site on the passport prevention is set up on October 5, 2022. The seasonal flu vaccination campaign starts on October 18.

Money and consumption

The ceiling for payment of restaurant vouchers increases from €19 to €25 from €1^er October 2022. The fuel rebate is being extended again until December 31, 2022, on December 1^er september to october 31, 2022, the discount at the pump is 30 euro cents per liter, it will be 10 euro cents per liter of 1^er November to December 31, 2022. From 1^er october 2022, many legal compliance and hidden defect warranty obligations come into force.

Environment

The European Sustainable Development Week (ESDD) runs from 18 September to 8 October 2022. The basic allowances for volunteer fire-fighters shall be increased to 1^er October.

Leisure

Since 1^er october 2022, you must now sign a “certificate of commitment and knowledge” 7 days before welcoming a cat, a dog, a rabbit... that you want to buy or adopt.
