The National Observatory on Energy Poverty (ONPE) publishes an annual Energy Poverty Scoreboard. Against the backdrop of a general rise in energy prices, the 2022 edition reports growing concern among households in 2021 about their energy consumption.
In 2021, 84% of households surveyed in the barometer expressed concern about their energy consumption (+14 points compared to 2019).
The ONPE Energy Poverty Scoreboard published in September 2022 is based on indicators quantifying energy poverty for households (housing or mobility). It shows a sharp increase in unpaid debts in 2021. Read more about the article on vie-publique.fr.
