Useful contacts, emergency numbers, contact details of local and national administrations... All this information is available in the administration directory on-site Service-Public.fr. 75,200 organizations are listed with nearly 15,000 contacts.

Looking for information? Use the directory search engine: “Who, what? Where?” Or search for an organization by theme in “All Directory Organizations by Theme”. Next, refine your search by location: “Search by postal code, city, state or region”.

One standard form of a local body (e.g. a town hall) indicates the following:

• telephone;
• accessible telephone;
• website;
• email and/or contact form;
• physical address with a plan
• opening hours (including telephone reception);
• postal address;
• physical accessibility information.

The records of national (ministries, institutions, embassies...) or decentralized (prefectures, regional health agencies...) bodies also contain the names of the persons responsible and the organization of the entity.

Accessible Phone

Since 8 March 2023, the yearbook has been providing information: " Accessible Phone indicating whether a telephone relay for deaf and hard of hearing persons is available.

If this is the case, the URL of the telephone relay shall be specified, together with the possibilities offered:

• call via an interpreter (LSF: video interpretation in French sign language);
• call via a transcriber (instant speech transcription);
• call via an encoder (LPC: video-coding in completed spoken French).

For each of these features, a green pastille tells you if the service is offered and the opening hours are mentioned.

Physical accessibility of the premises

Since March 23, 2023, the yearbook also provides a detailed overview of physical accessibility a place to enable the disabled user to know all the necessary data before going there:

• access (mode of transport, adapted parking space...);
• exterior path (staircase, ramp, elevator...);
• entrance (intercom, width of the entrance door...);
• reception conditions (visible reception area, staff sensitized or trained to welcome disabled people, adapted toilets...).
