Family and social benefits: new amounts as of 1 April 2025

A large number of social allowances and benefits are increased to 1^er April 2025, as outlined in the interdepartmental instruction of March 17, 2025.

The level of revaluation shall be determined each year on the basis of the non-tobacco consumer price index. While the figures of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) indicate an inflation rate of 2% for the year 2024, the revaluation at 1^er april 2025 was established at 1.7%.

The new amounts are effective from 1^er april 2025.

Social benefits upgraded as of April 1, 2025

At 1^er April 2025, the following social benefits are increased by 1.7%:

• active solidarity income (SSA) ;
• activity premium ;
• emergency universal assistance for victims of domestic violence ;
• Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA) ;
• specific solidarity allowance (SSA) ;
• daily end-of-life support allowance (AJAP).

Family allowances increased as of April 1, 2025

The monthly basis for calculating family allowances (BMAF) is upgraded to 1^er April 2025 and extended to €474.37 (compared to €466.44 since 1^er April 2024).

This impacts the following allocations:

• family allowances ;
• Early Childhood Care Benefit (ELCC): birth premium, adoption premium, basic allowance ;
• Shared Child Education Benefit (PreParE) ;
• free choice of mode of custody (CMG) supplement: home care, micro-nursery, childminder ;
• family supplement (family of 3 or more children) ;
• family support allowance (FSA): orphaned child, child taken in, separated parents, unrecognized child ;
• back-to-school allowance ;
• education allowance for disabled children (AEEH) ;
• daily parental attendance allowance (DPA) ;
• removal allowance ;
• lump-sum allowance in the event of the death of a child.

Note that the resource ceilings for the allocation of the complementary health solidarity (C2S) are also upgraded.
