While 14% of the reports on SignalConso concern tourism sectors (travel, leisure, cafes/restaurants), and France is preparing to receive millions of foreigner visitors for major sporting events, the platform dedicated to reporting and amicable resolution of consumer problems is expanding its service offering: English version with a dedicated reporting route for anglophone consumers.

By promoting the amicable settlement of disputes between consumers and professionals, non-French-speaking visitors will find the answer, in English, to any consumption problems encountered during their stay.

For the Directorate-General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF), this version will make it possible to detect fraud specifically targeting tourists more quickly and to identify professionals who are the subject of numerous reports in tourist-oriented sectors.

This English version, also available on SignalConso's mobile app, offers international tourists:

• the possibility of entering a professional in just a few clicks (shops in stores, online shops, leisure, transport, cafes/restaurants, etc.);
• the possibility to lodge an alert for any consumer problem: lack of information, hidden service, defective or dangerous product/service, etc.
