MaPrimeAdapt' is the new support for housing adaptation financing; it applies to the main residence.

It aims to enable seniors and persons with disabilities to stay in their homes by adapting their accommodations.

What kind of work can MaPrimeAdapt' finance?

The grant provides funding for internal and external adaptation work.

Internal work may concern, for example:

  • the installation of a stairlift;
  • the installation of motion-sensing lighting;
  • door widening;
  • installation of a raised toilet and grab bars;
  • etc.

Outside:

  • the installation of an access ramp to the entrance of the dwelling;
  • the creation of a PMR. parking space (persons with reduced mobility);
  • the installation of roller shutters;
  • etc.

MaPrimeAdapt’ can finance up to 50 or 70% of the amount of housing adaptation work, depending on income and up to a maximum of €22,000 excluding taxes.

This new aid replaces the three previously existing aid schemes: ‘Living Easily’ by the National Housing Agency (Anah), the autonomy tax credit and aid from the National Old Age Insurance Fund (Cnav) for the adaptation of housing for the elderly.

FYI

MaPrimeAdapt' can be combined with energy renovation aid (MaPrimeRénov') and local aid.

Anah’s “Living Easily” aid remains effective for the work begun in 2023.
