Publié le 28 février 2024 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)

Légifrance, the official website of French law, has just rolled out a new version. The latest developments make it easier to find users in the various regulatory texts and to supplement their knowledge with new links placed within the texts.

The site Legifrance has recently deployed a new version with 4 major changes and many patches. You can now explore these features to improve text navigation and search.

As the primary objective of the site is to facilitate access to the law, this version focuses on support for non-legal professionals:

  • one "practical information" tab is incorporated in some texts. These spaces offer direct links to the Service-Public.fr and allow users to access additional information about the topic of interest;
  • one a specific link has been added for texts published in the Official Journal. With one click, users can now directly access the content of the text in its consolidated version, which makes it easier to consult the laws in force.

To simplify advanced search and search construction, different options have been rearranged.

Finally, for greater legibility, the star (*) that appeared in the left column when the search was performed, when the entire background was displayed, has been removed.

In addition to these improvements, the site offers about 50 patches and accessibility optimizations.
