Back to school 2024: practical tips to get into student life

After the publication of a “Road to Student Life!” guide for senior year students, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research gathers all the information useful to know in order to prepare for entry into higher education. These tips are available free of charge on student.gouv.fr.

The department thus groups together practical tips on various subjects specific to student life, such as:

• scholarships and financial assistance (mobility aid Coursup, scholarships based on social criteria, regional aid...);
• transport (financing of driving licenses, No Rail...);
• employment contracts (find a student job, find an internship, co-op or job...);
• health (choose a treating physician, subscribe to a health supplement...);
• practical and academic life (to practice a cultural activity, to create its association...);
• international mobility (study abroad, get your language level certified...);
• the accommodation (stay in the private park, to provide accommodation, living in a roomshare...).
