Securing online approaches: FranceConnect+ integrates France Identity

To authenticate yourself on FranceConnect+ during your most sensitive online steps, you will now be able to use France Identity. A new national identity card (bank card format) and a strengthened digital identity will be required.

Since July 11, 2024, it is possible to connect to FranceConnect+ thanks to France Identité. FranceConnect+ is the portal to access your online processes involving the processing of sensitive data.

To authenticate with France Identité on FranceConnect+, you need:

  • Connect to FranceConnect+ on an online service.
  • choose France Identity among the available means of authentication;
  • Open the France Identité app and scan the QR code that appears (if you log in to FranceConnect+ on mobile, you will be automatically redirected to the France Identité app).
  • Confirm your login request and enter your 6-digit PIN.
  • bring your identity card in bank card format and read it with your smartphone, placing the identity card in front of your smartphone.
