Blue Week celebrates the movement of seniors. For too long, old age has been synonymous with decline and inactivity. Older people now demand to be part of the action, but also to form a bond and participate in a social life.

This event is an opportunity to promote a positive image of aging and to value the contributions of seniors, regardless of their age, health status or level of independence.

Older age does not always mean disability, dependency, or abandonment of autonomy at home and entry into Ehpad. A number of actions and developments take into account the needs of older people: accessibility of shops, transport, new forms of intergenerational housing, habitats grouped together to promote social connection.

L'2024 edition is punctuated by more than 1,000 events: blue marches, photo exhibitions, theater performances, creative or recreational workshops, forums and debates, etc.

FYI

you can take the initiative of an action, a blue march or participate in the contest fill out the form. The competition rewards the most outstanding actions organized within an institution, a municipality or a department.
