Career Development Weeks: what possible accompaniments?

Want to take stock of your professional situation? Be supported in your future choices or develop your skills? The 5the The Career Development Weeks will take place from 7 to 18 October 2024. Service-Public.fr introduces you to the program and informs you on 2 devices that may concern you: the personal training account (CPF) and the professional development advice (CEP).

Career Development Weeks is a key career event. Training and webinars, job fairs, conferences, workshops or job forums... To help you develop your skills, meet experts and expand your professional network, visit the program of this edition.

On the program from 7 to 18 October:

  • 70 webinars on training, career development, guidance and changes in the world of work at destination employees, self-employed persons or companies (HR, leaders, elected CSE, etc.): register for webinars ;
  • Free and accessible videoconferencing, regardless of the level of training, function or field of activity in which you work;
  • of new topics for employees and the self-employed: discovery of occupations and sectors (medicine, commerce, industry, digital), use of artificial intelligence to develop professionally, quality of life at work;
  • of replay available at the end of the event.

Personal Training Account (PTA) Reminder

The CPF lists the following information:

  • acquired rights throughout your working life and until your retirement;
  • the training you can benefit from personally.

It allows you to accumulate hours of training that can be used to develop your skills, train for new jobs or obtain certifications

CPF hours are credited automatically each year. The amount depends on the amount of time worked.

To view your balance, view CPF-eligible training and register for training, you must go to My Training Account.

What is the Professional Development Council (PEC)?

It is a free, personalized and confidential support system that makes it possible, if necessary, to establish a professional development project, whether to change profession, retrain or advance in his career. It is accessible to everyone, regardless of their employment situation (employee, jobseeker, self-employed).

It can be carried out by advisors belonging to different organizations to accompany you and identify your skills, aspirations and training adapted to your objectives.
