What is the content of the compulsory medical examinations of children?

In the mandatory medical examinations that children must undergo, doctors analyze in particular:

  • their growth curve;
  • psychomotor skills (evaluation of the ability to do certain gestures, such as walking or catching)

From 1er in january 2025, during these medical visits, healthcare professionals will also need to:

  • identify any mental disorders (including anxiety and depression) that may be present in the children they are examining;

Tests are done:

Consultations for these examinations are reimbursed 100% regardless of the professional who carries them out, without an advance payment, except in the event of an overpayment (more than the fee set by the Health Insurance for a consultation).
