Complementary health and solidarity: simplified allocation for certain beneficiaries

The Social Security Financing Act for 2024 provides for a simplified allocation and automatic renewal of the Solidarity Supplementary Health Benefit (C2S) for part of those receiving:

  • Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA)
  • The Specific Solidarity Allowance (SSA) and the Youth Employment Contract (YCA) allowance.

An Order in Council will set the exact date for the coming into force of these amendments. In the meantime, the information presented on this page remains up to date.

Do you have low resources? The complementary solidarity health (C2S) helps you with your health expenses. It replaces supplementary universal health coverage (CMU-C). It allows you to get reimbursed the additional part of your health expenses. This means that this aid covers what is not reimbursed by the Health Insurance. C2S is free or paid for depending on your income. We explain the rules in metropolis and in the Dom.
