Yes, you can change your school child during the school year.
To do so, you must first ask the school in which you wish to enroll.
The registration formalities will differ depending on whether the school is public or private.
In all cases, registration will be possible only if the school has an available place.

Enrollment in a public school
According to your residence, you depend on a public sector school. For information about this school, you can contact your local council.
Your child's enrollment requirements vary depending on whether you want to enroll the child in the area school or not.
If your child is not in the public school in your area, you can apply for registration.

In your municipality
You must first get the mayor's agreement.

You must then make the final registration with the management of this school.

Once the school has agreed to take your child in, you report your decision to change direction to the school where the child was enrolled.
The old school then transmits you a certificate of cancelation required for re-registration.

if one of the parents objects to the change of school, the principal must await the decision of the family court judge seized by the parent.
You must present yourself to the management of the new school, with the following documents:
- Certificate of expungement issued by the management of the old school
- Certificate of registration issued by the City Hall
- Family booklet or an extract of the child's birth certificate or any other document proving the child's identity and filiation
- Document certifying that the child has made the compulsory vaccinations for his age
Outside your municipality
