Public transport
You can take advantage of the partial support the public transit fare you use to get from home to work, whether you are a public servant or a contractor.
If you don't have a transportation fee to get to work, you're not entitled to that coverage. This is the case in the following situations:
- You will receive other compensation or free transport between your home and work
- You are housed by your employer's administration and you do not have to pay transportation to get to work
- You have an official vehicle
Warning
Some staff members may be required to reside within a specific geographical area in order to benefit from partial reimbursement of their transport costs to and from work. This is the case, for example, for research teachers.
The tickets that can be partially supported are:
- Multi-modal (i.e. allowing different types of public transport: train, bus, etc.) with unlimited travel
- Annual, monthly or weekly or tacit renewal cards and subscriptions to unlimited or limited trips issued by the RATP: titleContent, the SNCF: titleContent, private transport companies belonging to the Ile-de-France professional transport organization (Optile) or any other public passenger transport company
- Subscriptions to a public bicycle rental service
Tickets purchased per unit (e.g. bus tickets purchased per unit) are not supported.
Warning
Support for a public transport service subscription and a bike rental service subscription cannot be combined if the subscriptions cover the same routes.
General case
Your employer administration takes care of 3/4 of your subscription price.
However, the participation of your employer administration may not exceed €99.00 per month.
The participation of your employer's administration is based on the most economical fare charged by the carriers. For example on 2e class for an SNCF subscription.
For subscriptions falling within the competence of the transport organizing authority of the Ile-de-France (Île-de-France Mobility) region, the amount of the contribution shall be fixed on the basis of the annual tariff.
The participation of your employer's administration covers the cost of the ticket(s) allowing you to travel in the shortest time between your habitual residence closest to your workplace and your workplace.
If you are working part-time, incomplete or non-full-time, you receive the same support as a full-time employee if your working time is equal to or greater than half-time.
If your working time is less than half time, your support is cut in half.
Partial refunds of the price of your subscription ticket are exempt from income tax.
As a result, they are not included in the amount of net taxable income shown on your pay slips and pre-filled income tax returns.
