Can a contractor benefit from a therapeutic part-time?

Yes, if your medical condition warrants it, you may be allowed to work part-time for therapeutic reasons when it allows you to remain or return to work. We present the rules for this part-time according to your public service of origin (State - FPE, territorial - FPT, hospital - FPH).
EPF
You may be allowed to work part-time for therapeutic reasons if you are in one of the following situations:
- Part-time work enables your holding or your return to employment and is recognized as can help improve your health
- Part-time work allows you to benefit from a rehabilitation or a vocational rehabilitation to find a job compatible with your health
Part-time work for therapeutic reasons can be carried out as soon as your health justifies it, at the end of sick leave or without you having been off work before.
Part-time for therapeutic reasons may not not be less than half-time.
You can ask to work part-time at 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% or 90% full-time.
The authorization to work part-time for therapeutic reasons shall be granted and renewed, by period of 1 to 3 months in the one-year limit.
You should address to your administration a application for authorization part-time work for therapeutic reasons.
Your application must be accompanied by a medical certificate containing the following information:
- Desired part-time quota (50%, 60%, 70%, 80% or 90%)
- Duration of part-time (from 1 to 3 months)
- Conditions governing the performance of part-time duties (whether continuous or discontinuous, in terms of days or half-days not worked or as a daily reduction in working hours)
If your duties involve responsibilities that cannot be shared between more than one officer, you will be granted part time for therapeutic reasons if the service requirements allow it.
If operational requirements do not permit, you may be temporarily assigned to other duties appropriate to your body to work part-time.
Your authorization to work part-time for therapeutic reasons is subject to the agreement of your CPAM: titleContent. Your administration will take the necessary steps to obtain this agreement.
Your administration may, at your request, change your work before the scheduled end date of your part-time period.
You can also ask to end your part-time before the scheduled date.
In these 2 cases, you must attach a medical certificate to your application.
Accident at work Your administration may also, at your request, terminate your part-time before the scheduled date if you have been on leave for health reasons or on leave for occupational diseases or diseases for more than 30 consecutive days.

The occupational doctor shall be informed of requests for part-time treatment and of authorizations granted.
You get a fraction of your index treatment, your bonuses and allowances,The residence allowance and the family treatment supplement (FTS).
This percentage varies according to your part-time work:
If you only have one child, your SFT remains the same.
If you have more than one child, your part-time SFT may not be less than the minimum amount of the SFT paid to an agent with the same number of children and working full-time either:
- €77.71 for 2 children
- €194.03 for 3 children
- €138.66 per additional child
Your reduced remuneration is supplemented by social security daily allowances.
The partial reimbursement of the public transport ticket that you use to perform your commuting remnant identical.
