Disability: can PCH be combined with other allowances?
Verified 08 March 2024 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
The possibilities of combining the Disability Compensation Benefit (DCP) with other allowances differ depending on whether the person receiving the DCP is an adult or a child.
Adult
The PCH stacks with:
- Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA) + the independent living supplement (or Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA) + the additional resources if the conditions continue to be met)
- And the PCH Parenthood if the parent with a disability is raising one or more children ofup to 7 years.
Child
It all depends on whether the child benefits from the basic education allowance for disabled children (AEEH) with or without a supplement.
