To enter into a civil partnership Can you take it with a family member?

You can not go with someone to whom you are linked by a direct family link.

The prohibition applies whether it is related to a person or alliance bond.

So you can't go without the following people:

  • Your father, your mother, your grandfather or your grandmother
  • Your son, your daughter, your grandson or your granddaughter
  • Your brother or sister
  • Your half brother or your half sister
  • Your uncle or aunt
  • Your niece or nephew
  • Your mother-in-law or father-in-law
  • Your son-in-law, your son-in-law or your daughter-in-law.

No Waiver is not possible.

However, you can to pass you with a first cousin or a first cousin.

In your civil partnership file, you must sign a sworn certificate unrelated and non-covenant.

This certificate is included in the following form:

Joint declaration of a civil pact of solidarity (Civil partnerships) and statements on the honor of non-kinship, non-covenant and common residence
