PIX: Digital Skills Assessment and Certification Platform

Are you a student, student or trainee in continuing education and are you wondering about the assessment of your digital skills on the PIX platform? This platform determines whether you are familiar with the skills defined by the Digital Skills Framework (NCBR). At the end of the assessment, you will be certified for your level of proficiency. We present you with the information you need to know.
PIX is an information toolevaluation online digital skills. You can develop your digital skills and get a certification of your level.
This is for you if you are in any of the following situations:
- College student in class of 3e
- Senior high school student
- Student in high school courses
- Initial training student in higher education institutions
- In-service training trainee provided by public education services and institutions.
PIX determines whether you are proficient in the skills defined by the Digital Skills Framework (NCBR).
PIX assesses 16 digital skills in the following 5 areas of activity:
- Information and data
- Communication and collaboration
- Content Creation
- Protection and security
- Digital environment.
These powers shall be laid down by the Digital Skills Framework (NCBR).
The rules differ depending on whether you are enrolled in secondary education, higher education or working or training at a public educational institution.

In middle school and high school
The assessment of digital skills on the PIX platform is obligatory if you are in any of the following situations:
- Student in class 3e
- Graduate class student
- Student taking courses offered in high school.
The school head is responsible for organizing the evaluation session.

PIX replaces the “school”, “middle school” and “high school” levels of the computer and internet patent (B2i) since the start of the 2019 school year.

Higher education institutions can organize the assessment of their students' digital skills on the PIX platform. It's not an obligation.

If your institution does not organize the assessment, you must find an available certification center and sign up for a session.
In public education services and institutions
Public education services and institutions can organize the assessment of the digital skills of their staff, in continuous training, on the PIX platform. It's not an obligation.
