How can a volunteer in an association train?

As a volunteer of an association, you want to form? Use of your personal training account (CPF), your citizen engagement account (CEC), request for a training leave,...: we present you all the possible options.

That you are private-sector employee or public servant State, territorial or hospitable, you can train using your personal training account (CPF). It is accessible on My Training Account :

Your citizen engagement account (CEC) identify your volunteer activities in an association, volunteer, reservist or master of learning.

It allows you to acquire training rights registered in your personal training account (CPF).

You must perform these activities for Minimum 200 hours per year in one or more associations. These activities can allow you to acquire €240 per year and €720 maximum over 3 years of training entitlement.

You can use these fees to finance training courses for you, if you are a volunteer, civic service volunteer or firefighter, with the aim of acquiring the skills needed to carry out your missions.

  • Training leave for youth leaders and youth workers

You can also train as part of your administration's training plan.

You can train in associative management to obtain a certificate in associative management training (CFGA).

The objective of this training is to provide you with the knowledge necessary for the administrative, financial and human management of an association.

This course is available to you if you are older thanat least 16 years to 1er training day.

It includes theoretical training at least 30 hours and hands-on training in an association.

The practical training may be carried out simultaneously with the theoretical training. It must be equivalent to Minimum effective 20 days.

The educational manager of the training organization ensures coordination between you and the trainers.

Practical training must begin no later than 6 months after the end of the theoretical training.

It is carried out with the support of one of the leaders of the host association or another regular volunteer with proven experience in the operation of the association.

A booklet containing the assessments made by those responsible for theoretical and practical training is given to the volunteer.

The list of bodies authorized by the State to provide training in associative management is available from your regional academic delegation for youth, engagement and sports (Drajes). This is the former Regional Directorate for Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion (DRJSCS).
