Buying or selling land for which a building or development permit has already been granted? Buying or selling a property under construction? You can request the transfer of the license. The city council authorizes this transfer under certain conditions. We present you with the information you need to know.

A building or development permit, valid, may be transferred to any person authorized to apply for a building permit.

any change in the city planning rules between the initial permit and its transfer cannot result in a refusal by the city council.

You must submit your transfer request to the town hall:

  • By dematerialized according to the arrangements made by your municipality (inquire on the site of the town hall or on the spot)
  • By letter RAR: titleContent

The decision shall be given within two months.

The absence of a written decision from the City Hall means that it authorizes your project. Your permission is granted tacitly (without writing, implicitly).

The new holder shall display the permit on its land . The development tax is paid by the transferee.
