Yeah. Yeah. During your period of unemployment, whether you are compensated or not, you can ask your advisor France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi) for a skills assessment.

Another tool, developed by France Travail, is available to check:
- That your skills match those sought by employers
- Or that the job you’re headed for is right for you.
It's about theassessment of professional skills and abilities (ECCP) which allows:
- Evaluate skills and knowledge relevant to a trade
- To help identify other functions or sectors that you could position yourself in using the skills you acquired previously.
For half a day or a day, a service provider selected by France Travail will give you tests. It takes stock of your professional achievements.
It isolates your strengths and tells you how to communicate them to potential employers. If necessary, it puts in place an action plan to clarify your training needs.
