If your credit card has been swallowed by an ATM, you may or may not be able to recover it depending on the reason for confiscation. Here's the information you need to know.

Manipulation error
Your credit card may be swallowed by the ATM as a security measure for one of the following reasons:
- You typed the wrong code 3 times in a row
- You have waited too long to recover your card after your withdrawal or account review operation.
In these cases, the ability to retrieve your card depends on the location of the distributor.
Agency-backed dispenser
If the distributor is backed by an agency that is open, you should go directly to that agency (not your bank). You will need to prove your identity to get your card back.
Please note
for security reasons, some bank branches do not have access to ATMs and will not be able to retrieve your card.
If the agency is closed or does not have access to the distributor, do so immediately opposition to prevent fraudulent use of your card. To do this, call your bank's opposition service or the opposition interbank server.

Your credit card may be swallowed by the ATM for one of the following reasons:
- Its expiry date has passed
- You did opposition on your map. That's the case, for example, if you've reported it lost or flock.
In these cases, you cannot recover your card. You must then contact your bank and request a new card.
Card confiscated at the request of the bank
Your credit card can be swallowed by the ATM at the request of your bank, if they believe you are misuse.
Your bank can request forfeiture without giving you prior notice.
In this case, you cannot recover your card. You can request a new card to your bank.
You are registered to Central Check File (CCF) for 2 years.
Cash dispenser technical issue
