Installation or construction of a private swimming pool for single family use

You can settle or build a swimming pool in your garden as long as you follow certain rules. Beyond a certain area and depending on the characteristics of the swimming pool (above ground or not, construction of a swimming pool with its shelter, construction of a shelter on an existing swimming pool), authorizations in town hall may be necessary.

Buried pool (with or without shelter)
Depending on the size of your swimming pool, authorization from the city council may be required.
Pool up to 10 m²
You have to make a preliminary declaration of works in town hall only if your land on which your swimming pool will be located is located in one of the following areas:
- Perimeter of a heritage site
- Approaches to a historic monument
- Saved sector
- Site that is ranked or pending ranking
