Yes, an employee may resign during a prescribed work stoppage for illness, occupational disease or a industrial accident.
If the work stoppage ends after the duration of the notice, the notice is not extended and ends on the date originally scheduled.
If the work stoppage ends front at the end of the notice period, the employee shall to make the remaining period of notice in the company.
The employer may exempt the employee from completing his notice of resignation.
