The WEEE or DE3 shall be subject to specific collection. These are household appliances (battery, bulb, telephone, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, washing machine), computer equipment (computer, printer, cartridge) and tools (drill, mower). There are also leisure equipment (stereo system, television, remote controlled toy, console) and security equipment (smoke detector, extinguisher), and photovoltaic panels.
The procedure varies depending on whether you want to get rid of a small equipment or a bulky equipment and depending on whether you want to buy new equipment to replace old equipment.

You buy a device to replace the old one
Seller must take back your old device for free no matter how you buy your new device: in-store or by delivery.
The return of the old aircraft is then done fromIn one of the following ways :
- At the point of sale if you buy in store
- At home if you are being delivered to your home
- At the place of delivery if you are being delivered elsewhere (e.g. a pick-up point) or, if not, by a collection system set up by the seller or a parcel return system where physically possible
The method of taking back your equipment must be visible, easily accessible and communicated before the act of sale.
You're not buying a replacement
The procedure depends on the size of your device.
Appliance with all external dimensions greater than 25 cm
You should not throw away your device with your household waste. It is also forbidden to throw your device on the public highway or risk being fined.
The town hall can pick it up with recyclable waste. To find out, you need to contact your city hall.
If it doesn't, you need to take it to a waste disposal or collection point specially designed for this kind of waste.

External dimensions less than 25 cm
You should not throw away your device with your household waste. It is also forbidden to throw your device on the public highway or risk being fined.
You can drop off your device at any seller with a sales area of at least 400 m² even if you didn't make your purchase from him. The seller has an obligation to take back your device for free and no obligation to purchase a new aircraft.
Similarly, cells and accumulators (batteries) must be taken back free of charge and without any obligation to purchase them in the shops that sell them.
The seller must indicate how the devices are to be returned in a visible and easily accessible manner.
You can also deposit your device at a waste disposal facility or at a collection point specifically designed for this type of waste.
