Can an employee receive unemployment benefit in case of resignation?

Your resignation may be legitimate if you have not exhausted all your rights at the from a previous registration as a job seeker.
If you are in the process of being compensated by France Travail at the time of your resignation, payment of your allowance is not suspended in the following 3 cases:
- If you justify less than 65 days (minus 455 hours) worked since you became legally entitled
- If the contract from which you resigned lasted less than 8 calendar days (every day counts, including weekends and public holidays)
- If the contract from which you resigned was less than 17 hours per week.
Before you resign, check that you meet all of these conditions (including checking the working days).
