Your situation

  • This is a "simple" rental accommodation
Edit

A rental unit must respect a ceiling height and a minimum surface area.

The rooms of the dwelling must have a ceiling height of 2,20 m or more. Premises with a ceiling height of less than 2,20 m are unfit for use unless they meet the requirements of the decent housing.

To be decent, the dwelling must have at least 1 main room with:

  • Let's say one living space of at least 9 m² and a ceiling height of at least 2,20 m
  • Let's say one habitable volume not less than 20 m³

Warning

Departmental health regulations may impose more restrictive conditions.
