You need to get a endorsement (stamp affixed to your French passport) at the Algerian consulate of your place of residence. To do this, you must do it move personally (accompanied by one of your parents or guardian) and make an appointment online.

You must attend the appointment by completing the visa application form in duplicate:

You must also attach the following documents to your application:

  • Your passport + 1 copy of the first page of the passport
  • 2 recent and identical ID photos
  • 1 certificate to your travel insurance name - repatriation assistance
  • 1 certificate of accommodation of less than 3 months legalized by the municipality of the place of residence of the person who invites you by attaching his identity document or a hotel reservation
  • Additional documents according to the type of visa requested

In addition, you must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application for the visa.

Example :

If you apply for a visa on the 1ster July, your passport must be valid until the end of December.

The visa price is €110 if you leave less than 90 days and €130 if you leave longer (including application fees). The visa is free for those under 6 years of age.

The time to obtain a visa is from 2 to 10 working days.

The parent and the minor must each have one passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application for the visa.

You will also need to present the family record book or a true copy.

If the parents are divorcedHowever, the accompanying parent is strongly advised to have a copy of the divorce judgment granting custody.

If the child travels with his mother, it is recommended that the mother has the father's permission.
