Your situation

  • Travel of a minor
  • You're Franco-Algerian
  • The minor travels alone or with another person
Edit

You are subject to the regulations applicable to Algerians.

FYI

a Franco-Algerian minor must, in addition to his or her valid French passport, have a valid Algerian passport in order to leave Algeria. So he won't need a visa.

Specific conditions may apply to young people subject to military service in Algeria (e.g. census, exemption from service). It is advisable to inquire about the conditions of entry and exit in Algeria with the competent Algerian consular authority.

The child must have with him the following 3 documents:

  • Valid passport covering at least the entire stay
  • Authorization to leave the territory (and associated documents) to leave France
  • Letter of authorization from his parents with their legalized signatures. The child or his or her accompanying person must present this authorization upon arrival in Algeria.
