How do I pay my bills over the phone?
Verified 09 July 2024 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
You can pay some of your bills over the phone by calling a voice server dedicated to payment. This is particularly the case for your electricity bills or road traffic fines.
Payment is made by credit card.
You should then provide the following information verbally:
- 16-digit number of your card
- Effective date: 4 digits for month and year
- Pictogram: 3 digits located on the back of your card.
FYI
to secure the payment, you must authenticate yourself. This is usually done by sending a notification to you on your bank’s mobile app. This notification prompts you to enter either a passcode or a biometric fingerprint. If you don't have a smartphone, we invite you to get in touch with your bank advisor to find a solution.
Payment by credit card may incur additional charges depending on your account agreement.
Warning
In case of payment on a fraudulent voice server, oppose as soon as possible.
