Hunting permits lost, stolen or damaged: how to request a duplicate? - Permit issued by a prefecture before September 2009

The application for the certificate of initial issue of the hunting permit is made on free paper.

Specify your names, first names, date and place of birth and, if possible, the number and the date of issue of the initial hunting permit.

If you have copy of your initial hunting permit (front + back), attach it to your shipment.

Send your request to the prefecture or sub-prefecture that issued you the hunting permit.

You have to make a online pre-application of duplicate.

Online pre-application for a duplicate hunting permit

After to have made the duplicate online pre-requisition, you must to prepare a dossier in format paper .

Your folder should contain the following documents:

• Form cerfa no. 13944
  - The form contains a declaration of honor relating to the causes of incapacity and prohibition which may impede the issuing of the hunting permit.
  - If you are a minor or adult under guardianship, the form contains an authorization from your legal representative which he must sign
• 1 identity photos conforming to standards less than 6 months old.
• Duplex copy of a valid ID (national ID card or passport). If you are a foreigner, resident card or residence permit)
• Original of the certificate of initial issue of the hunting permit for any permit issued by a prefecture or sub-prefecture before September 1, 2009
• Proof of payment made at the time of online pre-application for the duplicate, corresponding to the amount of the fee for the issue of the duplicate (€30)

One duplicate application certificate serving as a provisional hunting permit is addressed to you by post if you meet all of the following conditions:

• You have a valid hunting license
• You respect the conditions for validating the hunting permit

This certificate allows you to hunt for 2 months, until the duplicate is received.

In case of control, you are presenting the certificate, a photo identification, your validation, and your insurance certificate.

If your application is complete, you will receive the duplicate in a two-month period following the filing of your application.

This duplicate cancels any hunting license or duplicate issued previously.

If you do not receive a response of theOFB: titleContent in the 2 months according to your request for duplicate, this means that your request is rejected.
