To benefit from theaid for leasing electric cars, you must meet the following conditions:

• Being of age
• Be domiciled in France
• Your benchmark tax income per unit must be less than or equal to €15,400
  For a vehicle rented in 2024, see your 2023 income tax advice for 2022.
• Hire a vehicle for a period of 3 years or more with a car rental company contracted with the State, from 1^er january 2024

You must also fill in one of the following 2 conditions :

• The part of the journey made with your personal vehicle, between your home and your workplace, is more than 15 km
• You drive more than 8,000 km a year with your personal vehicle for your business

You can only benefit from the help 1 time every 3 years, and Up to 2 times.

To be eligible for theaid for leasing electric cars, the electric car must fill all of the following conditions :

• Being a vehicle of category M1
• Be registered in France in a definitive series
• Be rented under a contract of 3 years or more with a contracted car rental company
• Using electricity, hydrogen or a combination of the two as the sole source of energy
• The mass in running order of the vehicle shall be less than 2 400 kg
• The cost of acquiring the vehicle must be Not more than € 47 000 TTC: titleContent. This amount includes, if necessary, the cost of acquiring or renting the battery.

In addition, the vehicle must fill one of the following 3 conditions :

• To be a new car having obtained a environmental score 60 points or more.
  You can consult online the list of vehicles which have obtained this score.
• Or be a car registered for the 1^re times, in France or abroad for a minimum of 1 year and less than 3 and a half years on the date of signature of the rental contract
• Or be a car whose heat engine has been converted into an electric battery or fuel cell engine by an authorized professional, for less than 3 years and 6 months on the date of signature of the rental contract

The amount of aid for leasing electric cars is equal to the lesser of the following 2 amounts (new or used vehicle):

• €6,000
• €1,000 + 16% of the purchase cost of the leased vehicle TTC: titleContent, increased if necessary of the cost of the battery rented

The amount of rent is fixed at €150 TTC: titleContent per month maximum, excluding compulsory insurance and services offered by the renter.

The car rental company must offer you at least one model of car rented at €100 TTC: titleContent per month, excluding compulsory insurance and services offered by the renter.

You can browse 12,000 km per year.

If you exceed this mileage, expense may be added.

The aid scheme for leasing electric cars is interrupted since february 15, 2024.

The rules of the termination of contract are fixed by the contract as soon as it is signed.

L'aid for leasing electric cars allows 2 formulas : rental with purchase option or long-term rental.
