Are you moving soon? We present the financial assistance that can be obtained on this occasion. The entitlement to each aid is subject to varying conditions. The list of aids is different depending on whether you are a tenant, roommate or owner of your future home.
What applies to you ?
Tenant
You may be entitled to a personal housing assistance. It reduces the amount of your rent (or royalty if you live in a household).
A simulator will let you know if you are eligible for this assistance. It differs depending on whether you depend on the general diet (Caf: titleContent) or the agricultural scheme (MSA: titleContent):

Via the called device Loca-Pass Advance, Action Logement can pay for you on security deposit which is requested by the owner of the dwelling.
You can get the Loca-Pass advance if you are in at least 1 of the following :
- Employed or pre-retired by a private sector company
- French State Scholarship Student
- Student employed with a CDD of 3 months minimum in progress at the time of application
- Employed student who had 1 or more CDDs for a cumulative duration of at least 3 months during the 6 months preceding the application
- Employed student with a traineeship agreement of at least 3 months in progress at the time of application
- Persons under 30 years of age and in vocational training (apprenticeship contract or professionalisation contract)
- Person under 30 and looking for a job
- Person under 30 years of age and having a non-permanent job (individual, contractual, auxiliary...), whatever the sector (private or public).

The FSL: titleContent can help you pay for the installation costs in your new home. If you have 3 dependent children (born or unborn), you move between 1er day of calendar month that follows the end of your 3e month of pregnancy and the last day of the month before 2e birthday of your last child and you are entitled to the personalized housing assistance (LPA) or the family housing allowance (FLA) for your new home, you are entitled to the moving bonus.

If you are registered at Parcoursup and you go to a higher education institution outside your home academy, you may be eligible for the Parcoursup mobility aid under certain conditions.

If you are a student, enrolled in the first year of a master's degree in an academic region different from the one where you obtained your bachelor's degree, you may be entitled to the mobility aid in master's degree under certain conditions.

If you are under 30 years of age and are on an apprenticeship or professionalization contract in a non-agricultural private sector company, you can benefit from Mobili-Jeune support. It makes it possible to pay part of your rent (or royalty, in particular for residential homes) during the duration of your work-linked training. Aid is paid if you meet several other conditions.

If you are alternating in an agricultural company, you can ask Agri-Mobili-Jeune assistance.
If you are seasonal in the agricultural sector, up to €600 may be paid for your accommodation costs (rental, bed and breakfast, lodging, guest room, etc.).

If you have just joined the state civil service as a probationary or tenured civil servant, you may be eligible for the government personnel installation assistance (GPIA) under certain conditions:
If you perceive Disability Compensation Benefit (DCP)However, your moving expenses to an accommodation meeting accessibility standards may be covered.
This support is at most €3,000 per 10 years.
You must contact your MDPH: titleContent.
If you are retired, you may receive financial assistance for your move from your main pension fund and/or your supplementary pension fund. Check with each organization.
Some municipalities may provide social assistance for the move. You should contact the town hall or the communal social action center (CCAS) of your arrival town.
Roommate

In the case of a flatshare, you can receive housing assistance. The rent taken into consideration for the calculation of the aid is then divided according to the number of roommates. Each roommate must apply for his or her own housing assistance.

Housing must be your principal residence.
The dwelling must be signed:
- either a lease for an empty or furnished rented dwelling, or a agreeable leasing (therefore it may be a colocation),
- Either an agreement of occupation in a home or social residence (it can therefore be a collective structure).
FYI
In the case of a roommate, the amount of the security deposit is distributed among each roommate. The Loca Pass advance covers only the share of the security deposit due by each roommate who requests it.

A future tenant can ask Action Logement to be his guarantor of his accommodation, that is to say to vouch for him. For this, he must ask Action Logement for the Visale guarantee. Several conditions need to be met.
FYI
If the tenant fails to pay rent or charges during the lease or rental repairs at the end of the lease, Housing Action pays the amounts due to the landlord (lessor).
