If you are an apprentice, you can benefit from various aids: scholarships, aids for housing, transport, meals, health, etc. They vary depending on whether you are between 15 and 17 years old or at least 18 years old.

15-17 years

If your monthly net income does not exceed €1,104.25, your parents may be entitled to back-to-school allowance (RSA).

  • If your parents receive the high school scholarship and you are enrolled in the first year of a professional course (Technician Certificate - BT, Certificate of Professional Competency - CAP, Professional Baccalaureate, Technological Baccalaureate), they can obtain the premium for the purchase of equipment for the pupil enrolled in the vocational route.
  • Some regional councils also provide assistance to apprentices to finance their first equipment or materials. Conditions may vary. You should inquire about the website of your region.

It is possible to obtain a financial aid for the school canteen.

You can benefit from reduced rates and special offers to travel by public transport.

  • If you want to issue license B or license A2 or license A1, you can get a zero-interest loan called permit of 1 euro per day. Once the loan has been granted, the amount of the loan is paid to the driving school. You repay the loan in monthly installments of €30 maximum.
  • If you become SNU volunteer, you are entitled to free code preparation and reimbursement of the 1re code overview (ETG: titleContent).

18 years and older

Personal housing assistance (APL, SLA, ALF)

  • Some Opco provide assistance to a young person becoming an apprentice to finance their first equipment or material. Ask your CFA before signing your contract.
