Medical injury
In the face of physical, moral or material damage resulting from a medical or surgical act, there are several legal means of action. Procedures differ for challenging the quality of care or reception provided by a health facility or for obtaining compensation for proven harm. In the latter case, the patient acquires the status of victim which, in return for higher guarantees, entails more regulated formalities.
