Distance purchasing is the purchase of goods or services over the Internet, by catalog, telephone, teleshopping, direct mail, SMS, etc. Contracts for distance purchasing are regulated. As a consumer, you have a number of rights. However, some purchases are excluded from the regulation on distance contracts.
