Convictions and penalties
Convictions and sentences are the various penalties imposed by the judge or by the law enforcement authorities on the perpetrators of offenses. They are provided for by law and their severity is proportional to the seriousness of the act punished. The court shall review the regularity of their adoption and their execution.
