Receipt of gifts and payments made by an individual to a public interest organization (Form 11580)

Available in French only.

Allows a recipient organization to issue a certificate to the donor or member. It will give him an income tax cut.

Also used to justify amounts corresponding to a waiver by a volunteer of his or her expenses.

For gifts in kind, their valuation must be indicated in cash.

Please note

Associations that issue donation receipts must report annually to the tax authorities the total amount of donations received and the number of receipts issued.
